Silos is in active development. This page lists what's planned, so you can tell the difference between capabilities that exist today and ones we're building toward.
Everything on this page is planned, not shipped. Items here are goals and directions, not commitments to a date, and they may change. Don't depend on a roadmap item for production until it's documented as available.

- Available — built and documented as usable today.
- Rolling out — implemented but still maturing; availability is expanding.
- Planned — on this roadmap; not yet available.

Global & edge
Global WAL streaming (GA)
Real-time write-ahead-log distribution to edge regions, moving from rolling-out to generally available.
Edge replica materialization (GA)
On-demand replicas that hydrate near users, hardened for production across regions.
Multi-region production
Production multi-region availability with the routing and failover behavior to match.
The mechanisms behind these are implemented and rolling out today — see the Replication overview for current status. The roadmap goal is production-grade GA.
Developer experience & integrations
Terraform provider
Manage Silos databases and branches as infrastructure-as-code.
GitHub integration
Tie database branches to pull requests and preview environments.
Vercel integration
Connect Silos databases to Vercel projects and deployments.

Extensions
A broader set of PostgreSQL extensions loadable in the WASM runtime. See the current extensions list for what's available today.
See Extensions for which extensions work in the WASM runtime right now; expanding that set is on the roadmap.
Compliance & certifications
SOC 2
Pursuing SOC 2. Not certified today.
HIPAA
Pursuing HIPAA alignment and a BAA. Not compliant today.
Silos is not yet certified or compliant with SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar frameworks. These are roadmap goals only. See the compliance roadmap for the full, honest status before relying on Silos for regulated workloads.
